Helicopter search recovers $1.5M in stolen electronics

Overhaul’s LE Connect team coordinated with the Chino Police Department to recover $1.5 million in stolen electronics after a carrier’s network was compromised and criminals fraudulently brokered the load. Using Overhaul’s IoT monitoring, which detected device spoofing and suspicious activity shortly after departure, the team pinpointed the most likely location of the stolen trailer. Chino PD ground units and a helicopter responded, locating the trailer as it was being offloaded out of public view and apprehending the original driver as he attempted to flee.
