Asset manager helps a Fortune 500 Company cut delays and prevent diversions
Here's how Overhaul's Asset Manager unlocked $1B in order approvals.

A leading global consumer electronics company faced significant risk, managing high-value, high-consequence product shipments due to segmented supply chain visibility. The company needed absolute certainty over its most sensitive, high-value products, which were frequent targets for theft and diversion. Standard tracking provided visibility from origin to delivery, but the customer required true end-to-end oversight from build → operation.
Additionally, limited post-delivery visibility created significant risk, and sensitive goods remained vulnerable to unauthorized movement, raising compliance concerns. Without verifiable pallet-level tracking, the company relied on slow, labor-intensive due diligence for major orders, delaying fulfillment and
revenue.
The company used Asset Manager, a cloud-based platform that provides real-time visibility and environmental conditions of cargo or fleet equipment to enable optimal pallet level visibility or fleet utilization. Asset Manager allows customers to track, monitor, and manage assets proactively from a centralized
digital platform. This visibility helps drive operational efficiencies, improve asset utilization, and streamline documentation and compliance processes.
During a pilot deployment of Asset Manager, the company delivered 30+ pallets of high-value, high-security products to a customer site. These sensitive products were legally restricted from entering certain countries and were intended to remain at the delivery location. However, Asset Manager detected that 25 of the pallets were redirected to an unauthorized location. Overhaul immediately alerted the customer, enabling swift recovery and return of the diverted goods. This intervention avoided potential regulatory violations and preserved critical customer relationships by demonstrating complete control over the supply chain at every stage. Additionally, Asset Manager gave the company the confidence to streamline fulfillment processes, stay compliant with sensitive cargo restrictions, and ultimately protect both revenue and reputation.
"Having Overhaul provide the devices, tracking, monitoring, and software has enabled us to ensure everything from on-time delivery to preventing product tampering or items going missing—or even being diverted to the wrong country in some cases."
