VINView: a game-changer for Bull Valley Ford
How VINView keeps inventory accurate for Bull Valley Ford.

Inventory manager at Bull Valley Ford, David McIntyre, sold his first car in 1978 and became a sales manager by 1980. After joining Ford in 1990, he’s stayed ever since—first in Glenview, now in Woodstock, Illinois.
An industry veteran, he remembers when customers waited six to eight weeks for delivery, no tracking needed. Today, with supply and parts challenges, it's far more unpredictable. As he said, “The business is changing. We no longer have the amount of inventory we used to have.”
Dave has witnessed the industry’s evolution first-hand, and he understands the value VINView has brought to it.
“I go into VINView about seven or eight times a day; it helps us know where things are and what’s coming in. It helps us keep salespeople informed, who can keep their customers informed."

VINView helps the Bull Valley team keep inventory accurate. Dave can also track incoming vehicles and align with Ford’s builds. As he said,
“We can log into VINView and say, ‘It’s on a truck or a rail car moving across North Nebraska,’ … customers feel that it’s a benefit to them... We can [also] see what’s coming, see what Ford’s preference is, see what Ford can build so that you can tailor your inventory to what they've got available to build."
