Electronics were the main product type targeted during this period, representing 23% of incidents. The stolen products ranged from computers and monitors to specialized equipment such as cryptocurrency mining machines or telecommunications equipment.

The thefts above all involved high-value, in demand goods. As mentioned before, this is unsurprising, as higher value means higher rewards. In the case of electronics, such targeting has become commonplace, which is why electronics was the most stolen product type in several other quarters as well. And as these products continue to rise in value, so too will the theft attempts against them.

AI hardware—including GPUs, chips, and specialized computing equipment—has become one of the most targeted cargo types in 2026. These products carry immense value, are easy to conceal due to their small size, and remain in high demand across global markets.
